What you can expect
Discover Sydney’s vibrant nightlife on a guided tour designed for solo travellers, couples, groups of friends, and locals seeking a fun and social night out. Over the course of four hours, participants visit three to four unique bars including hidden gems and some of the city’s highest-rated venues.
The experience includes a complimentary first drink (beer or wine), with the flexibility to choose how to enjoy the rest of the evening. There is no obligation to drink alcohol, and non-drinkers are just as welcome. Along the way, the guide shares entertaining stories featuring crime, local legends, and fascinating bits of pub trivia.
Each night of the week offers a different flavour of Sydney:
Tuesday: Discover the "Bermuda Triangle" of small bars across the York, Clarence, and Kent (YCK) Street precinct in the CBD.
Wednesday: Explore the eclectic and quirky Newtown and the trendy Enmore Road.
Thursday: Enjoy a cocktail-focused night through Circular Quay and The Rocks.
Friday: Wander through the southern CBD with stops in Chinatown, the night markets, and Thaitown.
Saturday: Embrace the weekend buzz in Surry Hills and Darlinghurst, two of Sydney’s top nightlife neighbourhoods.
At the end of the tour, guests receive a curated map of the bars visited and additional recommendations—making it the ultimate introduction to Sydney’s bar scene.

- Meeting point locations change depending on the route (Tues night - CBD; Thurs night - The Rocks; Sat night - Surry Hills & Darlinghurst). - This experience departs from different meeting points depending on the route, Tuesday & Friday night is the Queen Victoria Building, Wednesday night is the "I Have A Dream" mural in Newtown, Thursday night is the Customs House and Saturday night is at a bar on Stanley St, Darlinghurst.
- It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes as you will walk approximately two kilometres over 3.5 hours
- This tour is great for everyone over 18 and all guests must bring valid photo ID
- Most participants are in their 20s, 30s and 40s
- Accessibility: Unfortunately this tour is not wheelchair-friendly but please contact the operator directly if you would like to organise an accessible private tour
- Cover approximately 2km, with some hills and stairs and the total walking time is approximately 30 minutes, but with plenty of drink stops along the way
- Reschedules or credits are available for all tours, subject to availability
- Within 24 hours, reschedules or credits are at the discretion of the experience provider
- Participant changes are allowed
- No minimum numbers and maximum of 12 participants
- This experience runs in all weather conditions
- If it is raining, please bring an umbrella or waterproof jacket
- Tours never get cancelled because of rain and only if it is too dangerous to proceed with a tour

- Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
